I created this 8"x10" watercolor of a beautiful grouping of Ponderosa Pine at the end of my shift at Artist's Gallery Sunriver. Artist's Gallery Sunriver is an Artist's Collective which I belonged to for most of this past year. It had been a long day of selling artwork, which is a lot of fun, but I was tired. As I exited the back of the gallery, I looked up to see a tri-colored gradient of a sunset behind a grouping of pine trees with a perfect ombre of blue, pink and yellow. Shimmering, golden light backlit the trees and gave me shivers. This was my reward for a long day's work. This image burned itself into my memory, a gift from God to create the next day's bread and butter. And I get to share it with you.
