"Waterfall: Gravity Can Be Beautiful"
Oil on canvas (12"x12")
A Meditation (medicaton) on falling water. As often described in photography, this is a still impression of the passing of time, and aging. And yet, because of the subject matter, timelessness emerges. If you watch a waterfall, up close, in person, if ever seems to be expanding, like fractals in motion, like a video played on a seamless loop. There is always more, flowing, sometimes raging, and then, when there just can't be anymore, there are always deeper waters, to put into. The waterfall never ceases, it only expands and contracts based on the seasons.
